Veterinarian
A California Native, Dr. Elizabeth Schilling grew up surrounded by horses, sheep, dogs, cats, chickens and ducks. She spent her childhood as a horse-crazy kid, deciding at age 4 that she would be a horse doctor.
She graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and worked in ambulatory equine practice, eventually limiting her practice to dentistry. Study of advanced equine dentistry led to a renewed interest in small animal dentistry as well. Dr Elizabeth taught at Western University of Health Sciences from 2009 to 2019. Her clinical fields of interest/expertise included veterinary dentistry, clinical skills, and equine practice. She returned to practice to further focus on dentistry for large and small animals alike, and is excited to be working with and learning from Dr. Jen.
Dr. Elizabeth shares her home with her Corgi, Jacqueline, and her retired goofball horse, Freddie. When not working she enjoys good food and wine, travel, and riding horses and bikes.
